HeartCode® ACLS Online is a self-directed, comprehensive eLearning program that is designed for healthcare professionals who need Advanced Cardiac Life Support training for their clinical duties. Students will complete the online self paced program (sold separately through the American Heart Association website $178) and complete a subsequent hands on skills demonstration with Ancient City Education and Training.

Description
- Online Portion: Self-paced (~4-8 hours based on experience level).
- Skills Session: 90 minutes (in person at our facility).
- Price: $100
- Class Size Limit: 6
- Location for Skills Session: St. Augustine, Florida.
- Certification Issued: AHA HeartCode® BLS eCard valid for 2 years from date of issue.
- Taught by AHA certified instructors
- Blended format: online learning + in-person evaluation.
- Student will:
- Recognize and manage respiratory arrest, cardiac arrest, and life-threatening bradycardias/tachycardias.
- Perform high-quality BLS, including effective CPR, ventilation, and early AED use.
- Apply the ACLS algorithms for cardiac arrest, post–cardiac arrest care, and ongoing resuscitation management.
- Demonstrate effective communication and leadership within a high-performance resuscitation team.
- Evaluate CPR quality, patient response, and team performance to improve resuscitation outcomes.
- Hands-on skills check with AHA-certified instructors.
- Certification valid for 2 years.
Must complete the Heartcode ACLS elearning course prior to scheduling the hands on skills portion. This is a self enrolled course that can be purchased at https://elearning.heart.org/course/1601
